I have a strange name, well I think it's strange anyway.. Posthumous .. It means 'After Death'. What a name. I don't even want to know what my parents were thinking when they named me. Lamia has given me a different name though.. Winter .. Which I like much better, I have to admit.
I am a three year old Siberian Husky male.

I can remember the day when we found Lamia very clearly. She was just lying on the side of the road. It was her beauty that caught my attention first, making me decide to go closer to her. And as we, me and Rusty, got closer I started to notice some more about her. She seemed to not be breathing regularly, or at least something bad been wrong. To this day I still don't know what it had been. Anyway, we managed to drag her to some water without hurting her too much, she wasn't conscious anyway. We managed to wake her up, and she just stuck with us. Ever since the three of us have been inseparable. Best friends. It had only been my and Rusty before that. As the time has passed I still look at her and am taken aback my her beauty, and knowing her as well as I do has just increased my love for her. I don't know why I can't just be brave enough to tell her how completely in love with her I am.

I am a black and white picture, well, except for my striking blue eyes. I'm quite a big dog, tall more than chunky.. but still big. I'm very well built, a good example of my breed. My fur is soft and clean. I'm well muscled and very fit, my teeth long and sharp, made to tear things apart. My back is mostly black with some white hairs intermingled with the black ones, but my legs and stomach are white, as well as the underside of my tail.

Rusty and Lamia are my family now, the rest are forgotten though I had many siblings. I didn't know my parents too well, they lived at some breeder's place. I was lucky enough to get away before I got sold to some snobby people who wanted to use me for showing.
