Paws thudded hard against the earth. A puff of dust clouded around Fox as he landed. He quickly looked back to the pock he had jumped off of. Feeling a wave of satisfaction wash over him he was able to walk away, with a grin painted on his face. His brother and sister were no were to be found. They were probably somewhere with his uncle. He snorted at the thought, then veered off the trail and into the undergrowth. As soon as he stepped onto the soft carpet of leaves, they crunched beneath his paws, and a perched black bird let out an alarmed squawk. Fox growled, Shut up! I'm not going to eat you! Although I'm sure you'd be tasty. He added silently. The bird fluttered away in response. Rude. Fox muttered under breath, then went on trekking through the thick plants. He was quite loud, alerting any prey that had been hiding. But soon the undergrowth ended and another trail came into view. He bunched his strong muscles and jumped from were he was. Landing firmly in the middle of the trail he trotted away, happy at his success-again. Now he crept quietly, not making a sound. He twitched his nose in thought, wondering how many dogs were in the oasis. Letting his mind wander, tremendously dangerous for him, he kept on going.

Kiera If I could fall Into the sky, Do you think time Would pass me by I wandered down the path alone. I could hear my paws treading lightly on the dried mud. Occasionally I would hear a bird sing and I would smile. I'd always liked birds, don't really know why, but it seemed like they liked me too. Like they sensed I dind't want to hurt them. I would just listen to them, it was so relaxing. Where am I? I hadn't been wandering around for long, but still it's not a nice feeling when you don't know where you are. Especially when you're on your own and new in town which meant that you didn't know anyone. I thought back to when I did know people, or at least thought I knew people anyway. I guess you can't trust anyone, even those who at first you thought you could. It was at this point where I nearly walked into another dog. "I'm really sorry" I said as I neatly sidestepped him so I didn't walk into him. I looked at him, wondering how he was going to react.

Fox looked to the other dog, she was female obviously. He smiled and let his tounge fall out in a pant. He dipped his head in respect, "It's fine" He promised, "I'm Fox, whats your name??" He said to make conversation, every new dog he meet was a chance to make a friend. And Fox being a likeable dog had lots of friends. He wagged his tail and held the smile.

Isil.Zheha I want to hold you close, skin pressed against me tight, soft breasts, beating heart, As I whisper in your ear..."I wanna f*cking tear you apart." .x. Green Glade. The surreal place within the dryness that really set one off for a good day. If you were a dog that liked toiling in happiness and prosperity. Well, if you chanced upon me, you would not see that same kindness you'd see in a one domesticated dog. Though I was a stray, and a dog like so many others, I was not domesticated. I never enjoyed that homely setting. I liked being free and living in the wild. I loved hunting. It's what I was and what I'd always be. My large, muscled bodice slipped forth with ease into the bright, vibrant green foliage. The sand slipped from my paws, collecting as paw prints on the gound. I left no tracks after that, and I was silent. Agile. Like a wolf. I flicked an ear and twirled my tail, glancing this way and that. I scanned the oasis with dark brown hues. Nothing else lived and breathed that was my species. I rolled my shoulders and let myself move forth without a care. I didn't much like running into others. Most other strays tended to be kind-hearted and generally didn't like to stir up trouble, whereas I would. I also loved to fight, but there wasn't one yet that would accept my challenge. Which is why I would have rather stayed in the forests. But you get what you get, I guess.
.x. I came to the shoulder of a path leading into the many trees and bushes. I tilted my head and quirked my audits, letting them capture the thuds of other paws. Clumsy paws. Obviously someone younger than I. I growled deep within my chest. I didn't like the young ones. They tended to get on your nerves more. I flicked my tail and continued onward along the path. Not quite on it, but keeping it in sight. I, however, took to the shadows, silently slipping forth with ghost-like precision. The element of surprise. I came to a stop as a younger brute began to frolic around, looking about him. Searching. My upper lip twitched at his endeavor. I didn't like his type. I flicked my tail and silently watched on as he just remained where he was, looking around for any others. It seemed he hadn't quite noticed me yet. Just as well. I would wait to see if any others had heard him. No other came forth. I tilted my head and looked to the bend in the path as a she-dog came around it, nearly colliding with the other dog. I waited with hopeless anticipation for the other dog to snap at her and make her wish she had simply not gone that way. But I didn't get what I wanted. In fact, I hardly did. I shook my head lightly as the brute let his tongue hang out and he accepted the she-dog's apologies. There was a large grin upon his maw. I wanted to leap out and slash that smile off his face. No I wasn't jealous, I was just confused as to why the brutes and the she-dogs continued to smile every day as they rotted where they stood, begging for scraps of food. It was sickening, in my eyes.
.x. So now time to make my presense known. I came from the bushes, stopping a good, safe distance away from the two. My aura was pulsating with blackness and tension. I hope those two would sense it. "The way you two smile and giddily talk to eachother is almost sickening." I said this bluntly, for I didn't hide my emotion unless the time called for it. I looked back and forth between them with loathing in my eyes. I waited to see their reaction. Perhaps I would be able to leave this encounter with blood on my fangs. Oh how I only hoped.
