I don't like living under your spotlights just because you think I might find somebody worthy
Firefly blinked, surprised. He hadn't questioned her or sneered, he had agreed. She had to admit, the Dalmatian was growing on her. Smiling softly, she considered for a moment. "Thank you for agreeing." She said after a moment, nodding. She then paused briefly, before she cautiously inched closer to the Dalmatian, wondering if it would turn out to be a good move, or a mistake.

He wasn't looking at her as he heard her words, his ears just twitching slightly. When she moved closer to him he looked at her with a slightly surprised looking passing over his face as he grew tense for a second as if in defense. Though realizing that she wasn't moving closer to attack he relaxed, though a slight frown remained on his features. He wasn't accustomed to being near another dog unless it was to injure them, and he wasn't used to anyone wanting to be near him either. So her moving closer was a strange thing for him indeed. He wasn't even sure whether he minded it or not, though he didn't say anything as he kept his eyes on her again, to see what she was going to do next.

When he frowned and tensed, she instantly got to her feet and moved back. Then he relaxed, but continued to frown. She was hesitant at first, not sure. But then a voice sounded in her head, telling her to stop being a sissy, to just do whatever. The worst that would happen is that if she offended him, he would take a snap at her, and it wouldn't be the first time. With that in mind, she cautiously walked past Shango and then circled back around, tensely laying down beside him.

Shango watched her carefully as she circled him before lying down beside him, he tensed slightly though he relaxed again after a moment. It felt awkward to him to have someone so close, though it wasn't a bad uncomfortable awkward. It was just an unusual thing for him to experience. Though he could see a good thing about it. Having fought her had tired him out somewhat. He put his head on her, that way it was far enough off the sand for him not to breathe in the small particles. He would use her as a pillow, even though it was making it even more awkward for him, though he was just hoping that the awkwardness of it would just disappear.
